Good day.

Please, give me an advice about which heart-rate monitor to select. I'm trying to keep a steady pace at 140-150 bpm.

Garmin devices are too expensive for me, but cheaper devices give false readings. I bought three devices and everything is meaningless.

Good afternoon.

I can recommend you to buy Polar FT 1 or Polar FT2. It's very budget but reliable choice in terms of service life and precision of measurements. Price is about 4000 rubles. In my opinion, it's the cheapest model of heart rate monitor deserving attention, among other models on the market.

There were rumours that the production of these models was discontinued but until recently they have been available for sale.
