Registration The application form for participation in the competition is available on the official website of the Running Hearts Marathon. All registration fees are charitable and will be fully transferred to the “Naked Heart” Children Help Foundation. Start Package Pick up Start packages will be issuing from May 23 to May 25 from 11 am to 9 pm in the Podium Market store, situated at: Moscow, Okhotny Ryad, 2, Fashion Season Trading Gallery, PODIUM Sport corner, and on May 27 from 10 am to 7 pm at the start area at Universitetskaya Square, Moscow. We draw your attention to the fact that on the race day there will be NO issuance of the start packages! Start Package Participants are provided with a start number, a T-shirt, a timing chip, a finisher medal, the result in the final protocol, an electronic participant certificate containing the name, time and place, first aid throughout the race course (if necessary), participant photo and video shot during the competition, SMS containing a personal result. Documents required for the start package pick up For picking up the start number, you must provide an identification document. Health Certificate For picking up the start package, the participant must provide a health certificate confirming the admission to the competition and sign up a statement, confirming he doesn’t claim the organizers for the possible health damage that may occur during the competition. For the children from 14 to 17 years of age, the aforementioned statement is signed up by the parents. The Race Start area: Moscow, Universitetskaya Square in the direction of Kosygina street. Race Day Schedule • 07:30 am - Opening of the start area. • 8:30 am - Warm-up for 3 km (1.8 miles) run in front of the stage. • 9 am - Start of 3 km (1.8 miles) run. • 9:30 am - Warm-up for 10 km (6.2 miles) and 21.1 km (13.1 miles) races in front of the stage. • 10 am - Start of 10 km (6.2 miles) race for persons with disabilities (PwD) using a wheelchair. • 10:05 am - Start of 21.1 km (13.1 miles) and 10 km (6.2 miles) races. • 12:30 pm – Awards ceremony for winners and prize-winners of 3 km (1.8 miles), 10 km (6.2 miles) and 21,1 km (13.1 miles) races. • 1:10 pm – Awards ceremony for winners of the corporate teams races. • 2 pm - End of the competition.
3.14 km (1.8 miles), 10.55 km (6.2 miles) and 21.1 km (13.1 miles). The races’ courses are as follows: • 3 km (3140 meters or 1.8 miles): Universitetskaya Square – Kosygina street - 50 meters (55 yards) long turn to the intersection with Vernadsky Avenue – Kosygina street - 500 meters (547 yards) long turn behind Universitetskaya Square – Kosygina street - Universitetskaya Square. Time limit for 3 km run: 40 minutes (it’s enough to cover the distance with a pedestrian speed of 5 km/h or 3.1 mph) Participants who failure to cover the distance in the aforementioned time limit will not be allowed to cross the finish line. • 10 km (10630 meters or 6.2 miles): Universitetskaya Square – Kosygina street - 200 meters (219 yards) long turn to the intersection with Leninsky Avenue - Kosygina street - 100 meters (109 yards) long turn to Mosfilmovskaya Street - Kosygina street - turn to Michurinsky Avenue - 50 meters (55 yards) long turn to University Avenue - Michurinsky Avenue - turn to Kosygina street - Kosygina street - Universitetskaya Square. • 21.1 km (13.1 miles): two laps of 10.55 km (6.55 miles) each. Time limit for 10 km and 21.1 km races: 3 hours. Persons with disabilities (PwD) using a wheelchair are provided with a separate distance of 10 km (10630 meters or 6.2 miles).
Requirements for participants
For participation in the race men and women of 18 years of age and older are allowed. Children from 14 to 17 years of age are allowed to run a distance of 3 km (1.8 miles) only. Children under 14 years of age are not allowed to participate in the competition.
