Huntington Race 4 Sundaes
Huntington Race 4 Sundaes: race description
REGISTER BY June 15th TO GUARANTEE SHIRT—, there are more youth sizes available this year! EXTRAS GIVEN TO REGISTRANTS UNTIL WE RUN OUT.
ONLINE REGISTRATION ENDS THURS EVENING, June 23rd!
The race starts on the pavement of the Main Road in Huntington and then travels on Camel's Hump Road…, a dirt road that passes verdant fields and the rolling river as it gently slopes up towards one of the state's most iconic mountains —, Camel's Hump! Choose to race the 5K with slight incline or the 10K with the same incline on the dirt road and a bit more pavement running OR choose the 1mile fun run/walk. All races end near the Huntington Recreation Field where all registered runners will receive a free sundae!
Made possible by Community Church of Huntington and Beaudry's Store (along with other sponsors), the race benefits Neighbor Helping Neighbor (NHN)—our community-based safety net for children, families, and seniors in the greater Huntington area. NHN helps the neighbors in our midst who are struggling with immediate financial crisis—such as the inability to pay for fuel, electricity, food, or other essential basic needs. Because the Community Church of Huntington (CCH) underwrites the administrative and operating costs for NHN, all funds we raise go directly toward providing confidential, short-term assistance.
