Every year Amberly hosts a 5K race to raise money to support a great cause. This year the race profits will support Operation Coming Home. Race Location: Amberly Subdivision
Course Information: The course is around the roads and trails of Amberly and Carolina Preserve neighborhoods and greenways. Amberly 5K &, Kids Run Course Map
Events: Youth, Juniors, Adults, Novices, and Families are welcome. All participants will have official chip-recorded times with posted results. All Fit &, Able Productions, Inc. events are inclusion events: anyone of any age or skill-level can participate in any race course!
Awards: Awards will be provided for top male and female overall finishers and top finishers by gender age group.
Online registration closes on September 18th at 9 PM. Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted at packet pick-up and race day.
5K Registration Fee:
Until August 19th: $30
- A Sport-Tek t-shirt is included if registering before August 21st and a cotton t-shirt if registered before September 6th.
Until September 16th: $35
On Race Day September 17th: $40
Kids (12 &, Under) 5K Registration Fee: $15
* A cotton t-shirt is included if registering before September 6th.
* Kids (12 &, Under) signed up for the 5K Recreational race have the option of participating in the 1 Mile Fun Run for free.
Kids (12 &, Under) 1 Mile Registration Fee: $5
* A cotton t-shirt can be purchased for $5 until September 6th.
NOTE: NO REFUNDS, TRANSFERS, or EXCHANGES.
Packet Pick-Up: Saturday September 19th at 8:00 –, 8:45 AM at the Amberly Club House.
NOTE: All participants must show a photo ID in order to pick up their race packets. All participants must pick up their own race packet and sign the Fit &, Able and USATF waivers. Minors must be with a guardian to pick up their race packet.
Athletic Trainer: An athletic trainer will be available at the Amberly Club House.
Race Souvenirs: All participants who register for the 5K race by August 21st will receive a Sport-Tek t-shirt and a cotton t-shirt if registered by September 6th. Kids 5K participants will receive a cotton t-shirt if registered by September 6th. Kids 1 Mile participants can purchase a cotton t-shirt for $5 until September 6th.

Fit &, Able Productions is a nonprofit organization that has been supporting community and family fitness in Cary since 1997 through organizing creative events and training programs. We also support many programs, such as swim safety lessons for underprivileged children and adults, youth fitness programs, and health education run by our community partners including the Cary Family YMCA, Triangle Aquatic Center, and Town of Cary. Proceeds from our events that aren't designated to support other organizations go to support the event and other Fit &, Able nonprofit activities.
