Trail Run for Victory, Mind &, Scholarship

This is a 5K Trail Run or 2K Trail Walk in scenic Woodford County at Life Adventure Center.  The proceeds from the race are going toward our VMS Annual Scholarship Fund to support a scholarship in the names of Baily Ford and Carlin Beasley, the Baily-Carlin 2 Tough Scholarship.  

These two special young ladies were diagnosed with different rare childhood cancers in 2011 and 2013, respectively.  This race and scholarship were created to celebrate their Victory thus far in fighting the disease, their diligence in developing their Minds at school, and their support for a Scholarship to provide another child in the community the same opportunity and support they experience at Versailles Montessori School. 

In addition to the typical free snacks and beverages offered to race participants, beer from West Sixth Brewing Co. and breakfast tacos will also be available for purchase (supporting the fundraiser).  There will also be a climbing wall and zipline experience available, provided by Life Adventure Center, for an additional cost (waiver forms supplied by L.A.C.).

Age Brackets:  0-12, 13-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61+

Sponsoring the VMS Trail Run for Victory, Mind &, Scholarship will help a less privileged child in the Bluegrass Area have the same personalized education and community support that Baily and Carlin experience at VMS.  It will also provide your business publicity in supporting children in the Central Kentucky area.

The proceeds raised from the Trail Run will directly support the Baily-Carlin 2 Tough Scholarship VMS will offer to another child in the area that normally would not have this opportunity.  A Montessori education for toddler and pre-school children is a proven method for developing creative thinkers and caring, responsible individuals in the community.
