Viking Vengeance

This is a fun, flat, fast course through the Old Town neighborhood of Forest Grove.

This event is a fundraiser for the Forest Grove High School Cross Country program and the Forest Grove Youth Running Club for kids in grades 5-8 . The FGHS cross country team has grown from 10 members in 2000 to over 70 members. In 2011, 2012 and 2014 both the girls' and the boys' teams won the Conference District Championships. In 2013 the boys' teams won District Championships while the girls' team placed second. The FGRC sent youth runners to State and Regional Championships. The Club also qualified an athlete for the National Championships

Timing

The 10K and 5K will be chip timed by Huber Timing. The timing chip will be attached to the race bib and is disposable and does not need to be returned after the race. Results will be available at the finish on kiosks and posted live to http://www.hubertiming.com/results/2015Viking

The race bib must be worn on your chest or front of shorts and visible at all times.
