Wilsonville Kiwanis 5K
Wilsonville Kiwanis 5K: race description
Join us for the first annual Wilsonville Kiwanis 5K. For the past 13 years, the Kiwanis Club of Wilsonville has hosted an annual fun run for the kids of our community. It is an enormously fun event where kids run age specific heats and parents cheer them on. There are booths and activities and hundreds of kids and adults celebrating being active and healthy. All kids get medals and t-shirts.
This year, we are getting the grown-ups into the action. Before the kids fun run, we’ll take a beautiful run through Metro's Graham Oaks nature park and finish under the same finish line that the kids will use later in the day. The kids can cheer on the adults! And all 5K runners get the same great medal and a tech t-shirt that matches the kids. This 5K is a timed event.
All proceeds from the run will be used to support kids’ learning throughout the Wilsonville community. The Club supports Wood Middle School's Everybody Reads program, our local Dictionary Project for 3rd graders, Dolly Parton's Imagination Library in Wilsonville, provides scholarships for high school kids, and more. So sign-up below and join us for a lovely run on a summer morning and stick around to enjoy the party and cheer on the kids.
