Two for Tots - 2 Miles of Hills for the Holiday!

Lets Have some Winter Fun (craziness?) 

This 2 mile course is one i have been wanting to do for a while, but never thought of a good reason to ask people to do it…,. So lets do it for the Children!

WHAT:  “,Two for Tots”, is a 2 mile loop in Mercer where participants will tackle 2 of Mercers funnest hills (Race Track and E. Market St.).  This is a fun run, but i'll time it just for reference.  

WHY?:  Proceeds will be used to Purchase and Donate Presents for local children in need.   Unwrapped gifts, wrapping paper donations, and Food Donations are always welcome.  

WHEN:  Sunday, December 4th,  2:00PM (because it's winter and it's the warmest part of the day!)

   Race Day Registration and Bib Pick Up starting at 1:00PM

WHERE:  Start and Finish at the Mercer Post Office.

COURSE:  Starting at the Post Office, Downhill Start on N. Pitt Street.  Quick Right Turn onto Fairgrounds Road (First Hill).  Fairgrounds turns into E. Home St. At E. Market Turn right and Start the long Hill Back to the Court House.  Turn Right on Pitt St and Finish At the Post Office.  

Awards:  Finish Medals for all participants.  To keep cost low and maximize charitable giving, we will not have shirts for this event.

Post Run:   Hot Chocoloate, Coffee, and Celebratory Cookies for all finishers. 

Incliment Weather:  It is winter, it could be super terrible or surprisingly awesome out.  Add a few hills, potential ice/snow…, and we all have no fun.  We will make the decision Saturday by 5pm if we choose to cancel the run.  All Proceeds still go to helping our local children in need.  I can still send you all a medal if you want one. It will say: Two for Tots –, Santa Helper, Instead of Two for Tots –, Finisher.  That's fun!!
