Sasquatch Preservation Trail Run - 5K
Sasquatch Preservation Trail Run - 5K: race description
ABOUT THE RUN
Hard to believe we’re back for our 6th year of the Sasquatch 5K Trail Run! Hosted on the Snyder Family Farm in Mount Wolf, this all off-road cross-country and trail run crisscrosses land permanently preserved by the Farm &, Natural Lands Trust of York County. You’ll traverse mixed terrain and elevation, peering into woodlands near the Codorus Creek and passing varied crops on York County’s best soils. Watch out for wildlife, we’ve seen native songbirds, deer, turkeys, owls, foxes snakes and sasquatches, all on this beautiful landscape.
Back with another NEW COURSE… some changes to the layout of the farm operation mean changes to the Sasquatch course! You’ll have fun, and feel challenged. The Sasquatch 5K is chip timed by York Road Runners. This great Sasquatch Preservation Trail Run has been featured in Runner’s World magazine’s list of America’s Top Trail Races!
Parking is limited and so is clean air, so please try and car pool.
Post-race will feature snacks from Flinchbaugh’s Orchard &, Farm Market, drinks, cold beer from Brewery Products (21+ with ID), music and celebration with your fellow runners. New this year, smoothie samples plus discount coupons from Smoothie King for all runners!
This is a PRIVATE property, so please –, no trespassing pre or post-race day. Since this is an active farm, please NO ANIMALS. Due to the terrain, we also ask that NO STROLLERS are brought on the course.
