Mission Statement: The Pittston Memorial Library provides materials and services to all residents of Luzerne County enabling them to obtain information, free of charge, for their personal, educational, recreational and professional needs.  Our mission is to continue to broaden these services, to stimulate their use and to become the lifelong learning center of the community.

In Honor:  This race is being held in honor of Tom and Dianne Tigue.

Race Date: Saturday, September 10th, 2016

Race Registration/Packet Pick-up:  From 8am –, 8:45am at the Pittston YMCA on Main St. in Pittston, PA.

Race Start: 9am

Course:  The course used will be the well known Tomato Festival Course.  The course is relatively flat with some moderate hills.  It is a 5k loop around the perimeter of Pittston including running over the two bridges.  The walk is a 1.5 mile fun walk.

Entry:  Runners are $20 pre-registration and $30 after August 20th.  Walkers are $15.

Features/Awards:  Trophies will be awarded to the Top 3 Male/Female runners.  Split times at the one mile mark.  Water station at 2 miles.  Long Sleeve T-shirts (limited to first 100 runners, 25 walkers).  Medals to the first place Male/Female in the following categories:
