Bucks County 10 Miler: race description

WASHINGTON CROSSING HISTORIC PARK

1112 RIVER ROAD, WASHINGTON CROSSING, PENNSYLVANIA

Packet Pick-up/ Late Registration opens: 7:45am

First Wave: 9:00am Waves of (50) people every :30 seconds

ChronoTrack B Tag timing

Location: The race will start and finish in Washington Crossing Historic Park, Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania, at the General Green Pavilion

Parking: There is limited free parking at Washington Crossing Historic Park, please consider carpooling and arrive early.

Field Limit: The runner field will be limited to 500 participants.

Swag: A commemorative event shirt will be given to all pre-registered runners and to late registrants while supplies last. Finisher&rsquo,s medals will be given to those that earn them.

Awards: Plaques to the top three men and women overall, and in these age groups:

Under 20, 20-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 &, Older

*awards categories subject to change depending upon pre-registration

Post-race food: provided by Gabriel II&rsquo,s Pizzeria. Ask anyone who has been to this race, we probably have the best post-race food of any area race. Please be advised that food is for runners only- we may not be able to accommodate specific dietary needs.

Weather: This is a rain or shine event. In the event or rain, canal towpath may be muddy.

The Course: The course is out-and back along the historic Delaware Canal State Park towpath trail from Washington Crossing Historic Park, Pennsylvania, running north to a turnaround point, and returning to Washington Crossing Historic Park.
