Run Eddie Run 5k

Join us for the second Run Eddie Run 5k, Edwardsburg's only 5k race, on Saturday, July 23.

PACKET PICKUP INFO: Packet Pick-up will be available on Friday, July 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Edwardsburg High School track/football field concession stand, located behind the High School on Section Street in Edwardsburg. Packets can also be picked up the morning of the race beginning at 7 a.m.

The course will start and end at Leo Hoffman Field, home of the Edwardsburg Eddies, and take runners around the village of Edwardsburg. Parking is available in front of the high school, middle school, and in the student parking lot South of the high school. Age group awards presentations will immediately follow the race.

For the kiddies, there will be a Junior Firefighter Challenge and Obstacle Course.

Proceeds from the Run Eddie Run 5k will benefit the Edwardsburg Public Schools Foundation and the Edwardsburg Fire Auxiliary. The Edwardsburg Public Schools Foundation provides scholarships to graduating seniors and teacher grants for special projects and field trips. The Edwardsburg Fire Auxiliary supports the volunteer firefighters of the Edwardsburg Fire Department both on fire scenes and through fundraising efforts.

The 5k race starts at 8:00 a.m. (Warm up starting at 7AM)

The $20 entry includes a t-shirt. You must register by July 1st, 2015 to get a t-shirt. Day of registration will be available for $25.
As per Edwardsburg High School regulation, no pets will be allowed on the school grounds. Also, strollers cannot be used on the track. If runners would like to run pushing a stroller, we will ask you to begin and end the race off the track. Thank you for your understanding.
