Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun Trail Run and Kids Monster Dash

This Halloween themed trail run event will take place at the beautiful RiverBend Park, 6700 N NC Highway 16 Conover NC. http://www.catawbacountync.gov/parks/riverbend.asp

Be creative and wear your costume to win a prize, show your Halloween spirit and don't forget to stop by the PHOTO BOOTH and get your photo taken in your best Halloween get-up!

The day will start with packet pick up beginning at 3:45pm til 4:45pm in the parking lot at RiverBend Park

4:45pm Kids Monster Dash will start (all kids receive a trick or treat goodie bag)

5:00pm Costume Contest at the Start Line. Judging for the best costume for INDIVIDUAL MALE, INDIVIDUAL FEMALE, COUPLE/GROUP as well as our 4 legged Mans best friend! Doggies treats for the best dressed pooch!! (dogs must be leashed and have rabies tag)

5:00pm Speaker from Veterans Helping Veterans and the Foothills Veterans Stand Down will discuss how your participation in this event will make a difference in the lives of our homeless veterans!

5:15pm Trail run begins

Mission: To raise awareness as to the many homeless veterans living on the strets and in camps in Catawba County. Proceeds will benefit 'Veterans Helping Veterans' and 'Foothills Veterans Stand Down of Catawba County'

Entertainment!! All-girl band, 'The Ya Ya's' will be playing at this year's event bringing their unique style of country and southern rock.
