Superhero Run 5K Presented by Run for Reece

Calling all superheros!

Put on your capes and join us for a Superhero Run 5K and Family Fun 1-Mile Run Presented by Run for Reece! In addition to our very own superhero Reece, real-life superheros will also be there! Superhero costumes are encouraged!

The event will be held on Sunday, October 11 at Swan Creek Preserve Metropark. Race will begin at 10 a.m., with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m.

No matter your fitness level, this run is for you!

About the Cause

Reece Bova was born with a congenital heart defect called tetralogy of fallot with severe peripheral pulmonary artery stenosis in March of 2012. Reece requires heart procedures by specialists at Boston Children's Hospital every 6-12 months for the forseeable future. Run for Reece was founded to help with the growing costs of surgeries, physical therapy and other medical expenses. All profits will go directly toward Reece's medical expenses. To ensure you get a t-shirt, please register by September 25. Extra shirts will be available on race day, however, we cannot guarentee you a shirt or a shirt in your size. Thank you for your understanding.

You don't have to be a runner to join us for Run for Reece. The race will be timed, and strollers and children are welcome. We ask that children over the age of 5 register (it's all for the cause!).
