Run Country Style: Country Kicker 5K, Boot Scootin&#39, 10K, Buckaroo Fun Run

RUN COUNTRY STYLE!  This county themed road running/walking event will host 3 seperate race distances.  The Boot Scootin' 10K, Country Kicker 5K,  and Buckaroo Fun Run.  This event offers a fun, family friendly, tailgate party like atmosphere.  Surround yourself with our scenic country landscape as you enjoy a beautiful foot tour of rural Mercer, PA.  

Event Location:  Start/Finish/Tailgate Party –, Cool Spring Corn Maze, 537 Franklin Rd., Mercer, PA 16137

Boot Scootin' 10K:  We have extended the 5K course to give you a real taste of our beautiful rolling country roads.  This 6.2 mile, out and back course will have 2 “,watering holes”,  and even more on course entertainment! Resist the urge to stop mid-run and start line dancing!  We have plenty of fun activities waiting for you at the finish line!  Just in case you are unsure…, boots are not required (or recommended).  All participants will receive a unique 10K finish medal and be eligible for special giveaways. Stick around and have some fun at the post race “,Tailgate Party”, and Awards Ceremony.

Country Kicker 5K:  This rolling out and back 5K course is will have 1 “,watering hole”, and plenty of on course entertainment.  We invite all runners, walkers, and kids to join the fun!  All participants will receive a unique finish medal and be eligible for special giveaways. Stick around and have some fun at the post race “,Tailgate Party”, and Awards Ceremony.

Buckaroo Fun Run: Your little buckaroo's get to join in the fun with this 1/4 mile (.25 mile) kids fun run!  Children ages 3-8 can run alone (or with parent) on our spectator friendly looping course (pedal tractor track).  Children will receive a special “,Country Style”, finisher award.  

Tailgate Party / Awards Ceremony:  Cross the finish line and head straight to the PARTY!!!  We will have fun, family friendly games and activities.  Post race refreshment (Water, Gatorade, Tea, Lemonade, and other Country Snacks).   Stick around for our Awards Ceremonies!  Overall, Age Group, and special awards will be given out for each race (10k &, 5K).  Country Hospitality at it's finest!  

Top 3 overall Male/Female, and top 3 in each Age group (8 and under*, 9-12**, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 25-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+)

Race Start/Finish/Post Race:  All event activities will start and finish on E. Cornell Rd, between the Cool Springs CornMaze and Cool Springs Fitness in Mercer, PA.    

CHARITY: We feel very strongly about helping the community around us.  A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County  (www.foodwarehouse.org/).   CANNED FOOD DRIVE…, We want your grub!  We will have a canned food collection tent at the post race tailgate party location.  Please bring a can or 2 to donate.
