The course begins on a wider paved road, then moves off road into a combination of single tracks and wide grassy trails with beautiful lake views. There are some moderate uphill and downhill portions on the course, just enough to get your blood pumping. For safety, no baby strollers, bicycles, rollerblades, or pets are allowed on the race course. Both walkers and runners are welcome! So, come enjoy a day at the park complete with a beautiful run, music, food, and fun times for all.
For the kids &, families, during and after the race, there will be snacks, music and a market with Haitian arts &, crafts, and great fellowship. Fort Loudoun State Park also offers great hiking trails, fishing, and a museum to visit.
