Good afternoon.
It's a frequently asked question. And I always have the same and very simple answer - as you wish and as it will be comfortable.
Breathing techniques can indeed have positive effect on your body. But most of them are mainly used in physical therapy or when your body is at rest. When performing work that requires significant lung ventilation any algorithms bring only additional complexity to the reflexive breathing.
I recommend a nasal breathing (inhale through the nose, exhale through the mouth) only at the beginning of running at low temperatures. It will allow you not to overcool the mucous membrane and not to catch a cold. But in a couple of kilometers you will warm up and even this necessity will disappear.
But if you find the way of breathing that, you think, makes your running easier, please, practice it. There are a couple of such people among my trainees.
Good luck and have a smooth breathing.
