Good afternoon.
Which type of running is more suitable for weight loss: interval or jogging? How often can I do interval run?

Good day.
First of all, you should realize that the goal of athletic performance is to increase a training level of a sportsman. To achieve this goal, there are some tools should be applied together.
As far as weight loss is concerned, it is when energy expenditure exceeds energy value of a diet. If your goal is to lose your weight, motor activity will help you to achieve this goal and there is no need here to do interval trainings: runs of average duration (50-60 minutes) will be enough. But it's important to remember that balanced nutrition will play a key role in achieving goal you set for yourself.
If we say about interval training for amateur runners, frequency of interval trainings depends on runner's fitness level: it should be no more than one training a week for initial level and up to 2 trainings a week along with anaerobic running - for "advanced" level.
Is it effective to run the same distance (10 km, for instance) every time at the same speed or should I increase the intensity of training? My goal is to lose weight and stay healthy.
Is it possible to train exceeding your maximum heart rate? What excess is permissible and how long?
I'm a novice runner. This year in May I ran 10 km (time was 1:10) and finished my first half-marathon in Sochi in 2:16. How to improve my results?
Could you tell about your marathon training plan? What was your weekly training volume? Did you use down weeks? For instance, 3 weeks of full training volume and 1 down week. How many kilometers did you run on Sundays and which exercises did you include in your trainig plan?
Thank you in advance.
Good afternoon.
I practice running since September. I ran 10 km in 1:09 yesterday in Sochi. My best result so far ... It was very hard race.
I can not figure out how to train further. Should I increase the running distance or just try to break the 1 hour limit.
My goal is endurance development and 21 km race in the long term.
Thank you for the opportunity to know the answer.
