Sportsman's diet should include various products rich in minerals and microelements necessary to meet his needs and cover his energy consumption.

Food rich in carbohydrates (complex carbohydrates such as pasta or groats) should prevail. Protein should be easily digestible and can be taken in the form of fish, meat or poultry meat. You also should include red meat in your diet but the amount of it should not be great due to its longer digestibility.

The form of food cooking is important as well. Boiled or steamed food is preferable because fatty and fried food has severe impact on the liver and gastrointestinal tract.
