What is optimum training for a 10 year old boy needed to improve 60 and 1000 race results?

When planning training for early school age children you should pay special attention to the intensity and volume of cyclic loads. At the initial stage of training (for initial training group) I would recommend to avoid monotonic cyclic loads and prefer play-based running training (physical games, football etc.). High-speed interval trainings (accelerations during games) are good for short-distance running. It only remains for a coach to help you to work out some technical aspects such as running and starting techniques.
You shouldn’t forget about GPP (general physical preparedness) as well. But GPP exercises should be done without weights. Bodyweight exercises are preferable (abs exercises, push-ups, pull-ups).
A training process organized properly will help to improve a 10 year old boy’s results gradually just at the cost of a child’s natural growth.

Good afternoon,
I want to run my first ultra (70K race). What the longest distance should I run during training for it and what time before the race?
I think it can be 50 km distance a month before the race.

Good afternoon.
I run 10 km 4 times a week just to be in a good shape and health. My pace is about 6:30 and I want to increase my stamina to run longer without fatigue and short of breath.
What exercises should I do? Do I need do short sprints?
The second question: is abdominal breathing so important? When I practice it I feel dizzy.
There are no parks near my house so I have to run on asphalt or across the field. Besides shock absorbing running shoes what else do I need to protect my knees? Should I use a special running technique in this case?
