Good day.
How to reduce the load on joints while running on asphalt?
Thank you!

Good afternoon.
I always say that there are no bad surfaces for running but there are runners who are not ready to train on these surfaces. If you are a beginner you should start with running on surfaces that minimize the impact load. I recommend you to choose dirt roads.
As the musculoskeletal system strengthens and adapts to loads, you can switch over to harder surfaces. I don't consider the asphalt as bad running surface because it's one used for running competitions as well. But I think it's wrong to go to the starting line without preliminary training on proper running surface.
On top of that, shoes play important role. Running shoes for training on asphalt should have good cushioning and enough thick and soft outsoles.
Good afternoon.
Could you tell me how to protect knees properly while running (sometimes, my knees hurt after running).
I see many runners wearing knee pads, do knee pads help?
Good afternoon,
I was diagnosed with arthrosis of I grade and now doctors recommend me to do plasma transfusion or hyaluronic acid injections into the joint.
What's your attitude to this?
Can I continue to run about 3-7 km with diagnosed arthrosis of I grade?
Restrictions by the doctor were only during the course of treatment.
