Good afternoon.
Tell me, please, can I run more than 10 kilometers with flat feet?

Greetings!
Flat foot is actually very common among runners and some of them like 10 ль running and even longer distances. Our main task is not to harm our body and health during running trainings. Therefore, if your flat feet is established or self-diagnosed, I recommend you to consult a podiatrist and if appropriate to order individually designed orthotics. I myself used orthotics not having flat feet because there are a lot of indications for orthotics use.
The question of long distance running (over 10 kilometers) with flat feet should be considered individually. In this connection I think only your well-being should be an indicator of load adequacy. You can carefully increase a distance by step if you don’t feel musculoskeletal pain or discomfort as a distance increases. I will repeat and say it would be better for you to wear training shoes with orthotics mentioned above during trainings. It will be an additional protection from potential adverse effects.
Good afternoon,
I felt hip pain (right side) after 11 km running. I found on the internet that it can be caused by leg length difference and arranged to see an orthopedist but may be you know what can cause the pain and how to solve the problem?
Good day.
I'd like to know could I use running as a weight loss tool? I'm 182 sm tall and my weight is 98 kg but my goal weight is 80 kg.
There is belief, for instance, that weight loss is not good for power exercises as muscles grow slowly in case of lack of calories even if you eat enough protein.
FYI: I started running two years ago but I'm running slowly, this may be due to my weight. I run 10 km in 1:05 or within an hour sometimes.
Good afternoon.
My legs feel heavy after 10 km running and it becomes harder and harder for me to continue running. In the result I literally drag my feet at the end of a half-marathon distance, what to do?
Oleg Sergeevich, good afternoon.
I do kickboxing training three times a week but on other days I run 5 km (seldom 10 km).
My legs below the knee hurt badly, the bone aches and I feel muscle tingling. I don't want to give up training, what do you recommend to do for recovery?
Thank you!
